Conference Now Case study
The Associated General Contractors of America
The Associated General Contractors of America had one goal – to provide a quality conference experience for FedCon attendees on a virtual platform.
Details
Organization: ACG
Website: www.agc.org
The Associated General Contractors of America is the leading association for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 26,000 firms total, including 6,500+ general contractors, 9,000+ specialty-contracting firms, and 10,500+ service providers and suppliers.
The Challenge
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) faced a common problem for associations during the COVID-19 pandemic: the need to host conferences digitally.
The Federal Contractors Conference (FedCon 2020) was due to host 275-300 attendees over the course of five days. ACG was faced with a four-week turnaround time to transform the in-person conference to a virtual format while maintaining the same value for attendees as the in-person iteration.

“Attendees were impressed that it was pulled off as quickly as it was and as
seamlessly on their end.”
The Solution
With Conference Now, the Associated General Contractors of America was able to:

Emulate an in-person conference

Provide a secure and reliable experience for the federal agencies attending

Focus on the education of the attendees

Customize their conference pages to align with their brand
The Results
Using the Conference Now platform, Web Courseworks and AGC built an engaging virtual event from the ground up. Conference Now emulated the in-person event, providing similar value to FedCon’s attendees. And, using a private URL, Conference Now delivered a secure experience for all federal agency attendees.
