Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP)
The Association for Molecular Pathology’s flagship course, previously offered as an in-person event spanning three days, had to be moved to their LMS in under three months.
Organization: Association for Molecular Pathology
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) is a scientific society of over 2,600 members from the academic and community medical centers including pathologists and doctoral scientist laboratory directors, basic and translational scientists, technologists, and trainees.
Because the MGP course is offered during odd years, the 2020 pandemic had no immediate impact. In fact, in the middle of 2020, AMP was hopeful that things would get better and that by January 2021 they could resume planning for the live 3-day event in May. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The Association for Molecular Pathology made the decision to move the full MGP Review Course virtually in February 2021, just shy of three months before the live event.
“We started our conversation with our Account Manager then worked with our Solutions Advisor, and they really helped shape this course to what it became.”
