Andy Hicken and I sure had a fun, interesting discussion about digital badges, microcredentialing, and more with Connie Malamed of the eLearning Coach podcast. We get into the educational (and psychological!) philosophy behind badges, specific use cases, such as association professional development and corporations working with learners who are not their employees, and a bit of the technology side, too. I have to say that Connie asked all the right questions, and to anyone nervous about being interviewed by her: relax! She’ll make you sound smart by editing out all your “ums” and “ahs.”
