Many of our customers use an association management system (AMS) as their system of record. Our CourseStage Learning Management System (LMS) must integrate or talk to the AMS in order to allow users to have a seamless “single sign on” experience as they move from association website to our LMS. Often, transcript information is also sent to the AMS from the LMS. This integration can be a complex effort unless experienced integration teams are utilized.
Another key to successful system integration is that the association chooses a company where there is an established relationship or partner program between the AMS company and the LMS company. I am writing today to discuss our partnership with the AMS called Personify and to explain why this is an important advantage.
Being a Personify partner affords Web Courseworks and our shared customer several advantages over an LMS company that is not a Personify partner. First, we have a dedicated partner manager at Personify to turn to locate answers and find the right people. We especially appreciate Personify because, like Web Courseworks, Personify targets the larger enterprise as its customer. Our CourseStage LMS is a robust system with many high end features. Also, we appreciate the fact that Personify does not favor its own Learning Management System like the Community Brands family might.
Personify does a good job showcasing Web Courseworks as an ecosystem product option. Personify also maintains a partner marketplace where their clients can search for options. Lastly, the Personify partnership enable us to provide an integration check list to prospects and customers. The checklist and the partnership program ultimately provides a road map towards a successful integration of our CourseStage Learning Management System and Personify Association Management System.
